Recorded Books is an audio book imprint of RBMedia, a publishing company with operations in countries globally. Founded in 1978, Recorded Books was formerly an independent audio book company before being purchased and re-organized under RBMedia[1].
During the mid-1990s it released five audio book recordings of books in the Bellairs Corpus. In 2017, seemingly in anticipation for the film adaptation of The House with a Clock in its Walls, the company began releasing all twelve books in the Lewis Barnavelt series.
