Bishop Fulton Sheen was an American author and host of religious television and radio programs whose authorship is cited by the question box moderator (Saint Fidgeta and Other Parodies, 45).


Bishop Fulton John Sheen (1895-1979) was a renowned New York bishop who hosted radio ("The Catholic Hour", 1930-50) and television ("Life Is Worth Living", 1951-57) about the Catholic faith[1]. Which one of the 90-plus books written by Sheen the question box moderator refers to is unclear.

Sheen was the second recipient of the University of Notre Dame Patriot of the Year Award, in 1955.
